I've got Mellberg in my Dream Team though, -1, grrr!
49 points for the first weekend though. Not too bad a start.
The red card that Jenas recieved on Sunday as now been changed to a yellow after the referee viewed video evidence, what use is that after Newcastle played most of the game with ten men, the most ironic thing is that at Highbury they have a massive screen that shows replays, all the daft twat had to do was look up
Ah, what a pleasant thread. Especially for those of us living outside the Uk. Ive only jusy found a pub that shows the Premiership but the Guiness is 3.50 a pint.
Fuck off about Mellberg. You must be going soft.
Apart from being one of the most unpopular players in football (even the Swedes don't like him) he is a liability. That trick he always tries to pull when defending corners, where he imdedes the keeper, just no need to operate that way.

You forgot Geezer Butler on bass.
That would be bass shandy?
Surely Shandy Bass, I reckon they should adopt the video referee in the Premiereship as they do in the football (rugby) here. It does give referees the opportunity to assess dodgy decisions. As for Terry Vegetables he always was a bit of a lemon.
I'm doing the Dream Team in The Sun, but you're only allowed 2 players from each club, so you'd have to lose a Newky chappie.
Mellberg was in mine to make up the numbers, cos he's cheap and plays regular, being captain of Villa. United players seemed way too overpriced, and I wasn't that confident about them, but I think Rooney will prove better value than Van Nistelrooy. I tried to get value-for-money, but had to resort to a couple of duffers;
James (Man C)
Hyypia (Liverpool)
Toure (Arsenal)
del Horno (Chelsea)
Mellberg (Aston V)
Stelios (Bolton)
Gerrard (Liverpool)
Murphy (Charlton)
Jeffers (Charlton)
Shearer (Newcastle)
Heskey (Birmingham)
